What happens if I miss a lesson?

Ideally, it would be better if you were able to attend the course without missing a lesson. But we do understand that life happens. When a student is missing from a class, the lesson is recorded, so you will be able to catch up before the next module is presented.

I am an accomplished artist. Will this course be of value to me?

If you are looking for fresh ideas, techniques and starting points, and inspiration then absoloutely.

How much do the courses cost?

  • Self-Paced Online Course: $690 (one-time payment for lifetime access).

What is the difference between this Getting Started course you present live over Zoom and the same course that is presented on the Art Photography Academy?

The difference between this Getting Started course and the one presented on the Art Photography Academy lies in the depth of content and additional benefits. While both courses cover similar content, the Art Photography Academy's "Getting Started in Art Photography" course offers more extensive material, making it a slightly more expensive option. Additionally, by enrolling in the academy course, you'll receive complimentary five-month access to the Inspire Community, providing added value and support.

It's worth noting that all live classes will transition to the academy platform in the coming year or two, ensuring a unified and enhanced learning experience for all participants. However, there is a distinction in the way feedback and questions are handled. In my live class, students have the advantage of asking questions during the lesson and receiving weekly feedback, fostering real-time interaction. In contrast, on the Art Photography Academy course, I schedule monthly meet-ups with participants to answer questions and provide feedback. Both options offer personalized guidance and support, catering to your preferred learning style and needs.

I have never done art and I cannot draw or paint. It this a concern?

Not at all. The camera is going to be used to do create the foundation of the artwork and mixed media techniques are really easy and fun. There is an artist in everyone, this course will open up doors that you did not even know existed.

What is the difference between the Getting Started and the Going Further Lessons?

Lessons six to ten are simply a continuation of the first five lessons.
